Jerry grew up in Portland, working on the garbage truck for his father’s waste disposal company. He attended Jefferson and Beaverton high school’s before getting his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. He earned his law degree at the University of Oregon, and later partnered with his Beaverton High and law school classmate, Richard Weil, to form the law offices of Chase & Weil in 1985. After Richard retired in 2015, Jerry partnered with his son, Gabe, to form Chase Law, PC. For over 40 years Jerry has provided clients with the benefit of his experience in numerous trials, arbitrations, and negotiations. He is passionate about helping people and working to represent his clients’ interests. When Jerry is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, playing tennis, and umpiring baseball games.
